“ I had a positive experience at this establishment when I visited. As always, there may be cultural barriers which cause communication issues as seen by some of the other customers in previous posts. Treat people how you want to be treated. Despite the current political climate and being a veteran that served during the Global War on Terror, there was no animosity, belligerent, or disrespectful treatment from the employees there. You get what you give! When I walked in, I greeted the lady with a smile and asked what was available. Most of their patrons order the day prior and pick up their food on their way to church, work, school. Being that they usually handle orders from the previous night in the morning, you will miss out on a majority of the menu as their food is sold out by late morning early afternoon. After speaking at length, all she had to offer was meat and cheese pies which are very similar to the latinx empanadas. Despite having been frozen, the chance to experience a new twist on a familiar dish was welcome. I am glad that I did not let stereotypes prevent me from trying a mom and pop shop that turned into a positive delicious experience. I even shared with my grandparents and parents with positive reviews. Wish I could have tried more, but that will have to wait for a time where I can preorder and pick up the next day. The place was clean, service amiable, and food delivered promptly after order. Would definitely drop by again when I go visit in the near future. ”
